Landon - Newton
Laura has been a family law advocate since 2009, bringing over 15 years of experience, a Bachelor of Legal Studies degree, and a genuine passion for helping people navigate life's most challenging transitions.
When Colorado introduced the Licensed Legal Paraprofessional profession in 2024, Laura was among its earliest champions. She saw a critical gap in access to justice — too many families facing divorce, custody disputes, and support matters with no legal help simply because they couldn't afford it. She testified before the Colorado Supreme Court in support of the LLP program and passed Colorado's first LLP Bar Exam. She continues to serve on the LLP Oversight Committee to expand access for families across the state.
Her clients describe her as approachable, responsive, and calm under pressure. She works hard to be the kind of advocate who is actually there when you need her.
